The range of activities includes hiking and e-bike routes directly from the resort, swimming in three outdoor pools and day trips throughout the region. Cultural highlights such as the UNESCO World Heritage city of Salzburg, the Liechtensteinklamm gorge and the Eisriesenwelt Werfen ice cave can be reached in 20 to 75 minutes. The included Wagrain-Kleinarl Guest Card further enhances your stay with discounts at regional leisure facilities.
Yes — and many guests do exactly that. In summer, two additional heated outdoor pools are available alongside the year-round indoor pool, as well as a baby pool, an adults-only whirlpool and a spacious sunbathing lawn.
Those who prefer an active day will find indoor sports facilities, a 1,300 m² play world for children and the vaMoos restaurant, awarded 2 Gault&Millau toques, right at the resort.
The indoor pool, indoor play world and restaurant are available whatever the weather. In the region, a trip to Eisriesenwelt Werfen is a great option — the largest ice cave in Europe, below zero even in midsummer — or a stroll through Salzburg with Hohensalzburg Fortress and Getreidegasse.
E-bikes can be reserved directly as a bookable extra for your stay. The signposted route network starts right at the resort — we will be happy to advise you on our most popular bike routes on site.

Yes. Hofgut is especially family-friendly and designed for families with children aged 0 to 16. Private kitchens in all apartments, a children’s programme, family pool, baby pool and indoor and outdoor play areas make the stay complete even for the youngest guests.
The Guest Card is included free of charge with every booking and offers discounts on mountain lifts, swimming pools, family attractions and other leisure facilities in Wagrain-Kleinarl and the Salzburg Pongau region.
